Sophomore Andy Urban helped Hutchinson
shut out a potent Colby team in back-to-back games last
weekend. As a closer on Saturday, Urban, the programs
career saves leader, pitched the final 1 2-3 innings in for
his third save of the season in a 2-0 victory. Urban struck
out one and allowed just one baserunner. Then on Sunday as a
starter, Urban twirled a four-hit shutout, tying a career
high with seven strikeouts and walking just three to raise
his season record to 7-2. It was his second shutout and
sixth complete game of the season.
