Sophomore Emily Barto helped the Cowley Tigers to a 3-0 week with wins over Jayhawk Conference opponent Allen County, and two NAIA schools; Oklahoma Baptist University and Friends JV. In the match vs. Friends, Barto played middle attacker for her team, earning a total of 6 kills with 0 errors. For sets two and three of the same match, Barto was moved into the setting position running a 5-1 for her team, averaging 14 assists per set. Her versatility has been a huge asset for the No. 1 ranked Lady Tigers.
