Helping the No. 3-ranked Cowley College volleyball team defeat a pair of squads in the top-11 of the NJCAA Division II rankings; freshman Martyna Gluchowicz was named the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference/Verizon Wireless Division II Volleyball Player of the Week.
The 6�2� right side hitter contributed 41 kills, 31 digs, six blocks and three aces as Cowley went 4-0 at the Johnson County Tournament. Her best match came in the win over No. 11-ranked East Central (MO) when she needed only three games to amass 15 kills and six digs.
