Sunshine collected 65 kills during 4 matches at the Barton County Highland Hotel Invitational this past weekend. She averaged 16.3 kills per contest and added 8 aces, 28 blocks, and 36 digs as well. Barton is currently 20-4 and ranked No. 13.

Danielle had 62 digs and a pass rating of 2.1 out of 3.0 on serve receive in the last four matches.

Niederklein led the way for the Scotties last week against Neosho with 9 kills, 2 aces, 1 block solo, 12 digs and 100% passing efficiency. Against Cloud, she recorded 3 kills, 1 ace, 10 digs and 95% passing.

Claborn averaged 10.3 assists and 1.3 kills per game in leading No. 4 Hutchinson to victories over Butler, No. 15 Seward County, Division II, No. 7 Cowley, Jefferson, Mo., and Alvin, Texas over the weekend. Against Jefferson, Claborn had a season-high six kills and 48 assists.

Lauren led the team with 15 kills, 5 kills/game, had a hitting efficiency of .457 and 4 blocks.

Vs. Highland - 18 kills, 39% hitting, 4.5 kill/game, 1 ace, 2 block solo, 3 block assists

Vs. St. Marys - 7 kills, 1 ace, 1 block assist

Kirkwood led No. 15 ranked SCCC to a 3-2 week including victories over Colby C.C., Alvin J.C. and Jefferson C.C. In 20 games, Kirkwood collected 214 assists (10.7 per/game), 46 digs, 24 kills, seven aces, three blocks and a .489 hitting percentage (24 kills- 1 error- 47 attacks). Kirkwood posted her first career triple/double against Jefferson C.C. with 50 assists, 10 kills and 10 digs. Kirkwood has a total of 737 assists this season.
