The Barton Community College volleyball team swept KJCCC Division I Volleyball weekly honors. Rayanne de Oliveria was the league's Player of the Week. Agnieska Paskevic was the Setter of the Week and reigning Defensive Player of the Week Karina de Oliveria earned that honor for the third time this season.
PLAYER - Rayanne de Oliveria, Barton
Rayanne de Oliveira reached double-digit kills in all three conference matches this past week leading Barton to a trio of conference victories in finishing tied for second in the conference standings. Attacking for a .329 percentage on 85 swings, she recorded her 25th double-digit kill performance of the season. Oliveira also added 15 blocks and 21 digs on the defensive end, to go along with seven service aces. The week also saw Oliveira move up into the program's Top-15 in three career charts: seventh in total blocks, eighth in assisted blocks and 15th in solo blocks.
SETTER - Agnieska Paskevic, Barton
Sophomore Agnieska Paskevic helped lead Barton to an unblemished 3-0 final week of the regular season, guiding Barton to a second-place tie in the final Jayhawk Standings. Paskevic averaged 11.55 assists per set to move into the program's single-season and 12th on the career chart while defensively digging out 4.55 per set extending her double-double streak to five-straight matches of assists and digs.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER - Karina de Oliveria, Barton
Reigning conference and national defensive player of the week Karina de Oliveira maintained the backline guiding the Cougars to a 3-0 week tallying 76 digs, averaging 6.91 digs per set in helping Barton to a second place regular season tie in the Jayhawk conference standings. Ranking second on the single season and career program dig chart, Oliveira started her week off averaging 7.4 digs in a five set thriller guiding Barton to their first regular season sweep over Hutchinson since 2011 then capped her impressive week averaging 7.66 digs in a clean sweep over Garden City.
