Elizabeth Chilcoat had a solid week for the No. 3-ranked Johnson County Lady Cavaliers, recording 71 digs, 10 blocks, 50 kills and two aces, helping JCCC go 4-1 on the week with its only loss coming to No. 1-ranked Parkland. Chilcoat record double digit dig figures in three of the five matches, including 26 against No. 6-ranked Des Moines Area Community College. She also had double digits in kills three times.

KJCCC - II Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week

Maren Mair    Johnson County Community College    Freshman    6'0"    Middle Hitter    Platte County, MO

Freshman Maren Mair hit an impressive .351 with 59 kills (3.47 per set) helping Johnson County go 4-1 on the week, only falling to No. 1-ranked Parkland. Mair recorded double digit kills in four of five matches. She had 10 against Kansas City Kansas Community College, 13 against Parkland and No. 6-ranked Des Moines Area Community college and 16 against No. 9-ranked Central Nebraska. Mair also totaled 11 digs and 11 blocks in the five matches.
