Neosho County wrestling traveled south to take on the 14^th ranked NAIA Stars of Oklahoma City University and lost to the host team by a 32-7 margin.   The dual started at 197 with Neosho giving up a fall before a decision loss followed at heavyweight.   Derek Steeley then put the Panthers on the board by posting his 12 victory of the year (10^th by bonus) to upend his opponent. The Panthers at this point were only down 9-4 on the scoreboard, but over the course of the next several matches OCU would widen the margin by 23 points in  picking up 2 major decisions and 1 fall as well as 3 decisions to frustrate the visiting Panther team and go up 32-4.  Ralph Manous was finally able to stop the Stars with a 10-7 victory giving Neosho some points on the board, but it was too little to late for the team as they fell to 1-3 in duals  on the year by a final of 32-7.   Neosho is next at the Kaufmann Brand Open in Omaha, Nebraska on Saturday, November 21^st at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
