Two KJCCC Women's Golfers Earn Top 35 Finishes At 2026 NJCAA D1 Women's Golf Championships

COAL VALLEY, Ill. – Ending the year at the 2026 NJCAA Division 1 Women’s Golf Championships, two Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference women’s golf individuals earned top 35 finishes following the 72-hole tournament, which was contested at Oakwood Country Club in Coal Valley, Illinois, May 11-14, 2026.
The 72-hole tournament saw 15 total teams compete over the course of the four days, with Dodge City Community College earning a 13th-place finish as the lone Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference team that qualified for the event. Individually, Barton Community College was represented by Panalee Prachavittayagon, Chomchanok Laparojkit, and Suri Rocha Orozco, while Garden City Community College had Holly Duddy and Fernanda Rodriguez both compete as individuals as part of the 96-player field.
Leading the way individually for KJCCC athletes was Garden City’s Duddy as the freshman made a seven-spot improvement over the final round to finish with a four-day total of 314 (+30). Duddy’s best round came on the final day of competition, shooting a 75 on the 5,920, Par-71 course, with two of her six birdies in the tournament coming in the final round to earn a 21st-place finish. The next highest finisher for KJCCC athletes was Dodge City’s Heewon Pak, who shot a total of 321 (+37), with rounds of 78, 80, 74, and 89 to finish tied for 34th. Following Pak was Garden City’s Rodriguez, who finished with a total of 326 (+43), which was good for 42nd. Also earning top 50 individual finishes were Dodge City’s Zhana Navato and Barton’s Prachavittayagaon, who both finished tied for 46th (331, +47), while Dodge City’s Molly Lloyd tied for 48th with a four-day total of 332 (+48).
