Final NJCAA Women's Basketball Rankings In 2025 Include Six KJCCC Teams
NJCAA Division 1 Women’s Basketball Week 6 Poll | NJCAA Division 2 Women’s Basketball Week 6 Poll
CHARLOTTE, NC – With most teams having wrapped up their first half of season last weekend, the NJCAA has released its final Division 1 and Division 2 women’s basketball top 25 polls of 2025 as six Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference teams continue to hold rankings heading into the holiday break.
For a second-straight week, there was little movement for the ranked teams from the KJCCC in the latest NJCAA rankings after last week’s results did not lead to much change within the conference.
Leading the way atop both the NJCAA Division 1 and the NJCAA Division 2 polls is the undefeated duo of Dodge City Community College (12-0) and Johnson County Community College (15-0) after both earned home wins over ranked foes last week. The Conquistadors put together a 2-0 week with wins over number 18 Hutchinson and at Pratt to take a one-game lead in the KJCCC into the break, while JCCC won home games over the University of Saint Mary JV team and previously number 10-ranked Parkland Community College to finish things off until January 2nd when they resume their schedule. Elsewhere in the NJCAA Division 1 rankings, Butler Community College turned in wins over Independence and Seward County to improve to 12-1 overall and maintain their number 14 ranking while Hutchinson bounced back from their road defeat at Dodge City with a home win over Cloud County to be ranked number 19 this week.
Other teams from the KJCCC that are ranked in this week’s NJCAA Division 2 women’s basketball top 25 include number 16 ranked Allen Community College as well as number 18 Kansas City Kansas Community College after seeing the Blue Devils make a three-spot jump in the latest rankings. Allen was idle last week after finishing their December portion of their schedule back on December 6th while KCKCC earned a commanding 78-38 road win at Metropolitan Community College in their only action last week ahead of two games this week to close out the 2025 portion of their schedule.
Action becomes sparse over the next two weeks, with two games on Monday night followed by a single game on Wednesday, December 17th to close out what has been a rapid first six-plus weeks of the regular season. This week’s schedule features Kansas City Kansas playing host to John Wood Community College and Fort Scott traveling to North Arkansas College on Monday evening before seeing the Blue Devils serve as the final team to take the court from the KJCCC in 2025 when they host Mid-America Nazarene JV on Wednesday night. After Wednesday, games will take a hiatus until Friday, January 2nd when Johnson County hosts Treasure Valley Community College ahead of a seven-game schedule to get things ramped back up on Saturday, January 3rd.
