2025-26 KJCCC Women's Basketball Players of the Week - Week 10
COLBY, Kan. –Unbeaten weeks for Hutchinson Community College and Johnson County Community College have led to Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week honors for Blue Dragon forward Noelle Anthon and Cavalier guard Layla Scott for Week 10 of the 2025-26 season.
Noelle Anthon – Hutchinson (KJCCC Division 1 Women’s Basketball Player of the Week) Hutchinson sophomore forward Noelle Anthon averaged 15.0 points and 8.0 rebounds to lead the number 20-ranked Blue Dragons to a pair of victories last week. Anthon shot 70 percent from the field (14-of-20) for the week while posting a career-high 19 points on nine-of-10 shooting and nine rebounds in an 86-47 win over Pratt.
Layla Scott – Johnson County (KJCCC Division 2 Women’s Basketball Player of the Week)
JCCC sophomore guard Layla Scott became the Cavaliers' career leader in made three-point field goals last week, draining eight in a pair of double-digit victories over Highland and number 15 Kansas City Kansas to open conference play. Scott now has 193 made triples over her two seasons. That total also moved into the fifth spot all-time in KJCCC history. Last week, Scott averaged 17.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and shot 44.4 percent beyond the arc.
