The No. 7 Highland women's basketball team finished the regular season with a win over No. 4 Kansas City and a win over Fort Scott to finish second in the KJCCC DII and move to 23-4 on the season. Freshman, Tiana Gipson had herself a week dropping 25 and 38 points in two Scottie wins and tied a single-game record with 10 made 3-pointers against Fort Scott. Gipson posted 25 points on 7 of 11 shooting going 8 of 8 from the free-throw line in the win over Kansas City and then had a career-high 38 points on 13 of 19 shooting including 10 3-pointers against Fort Scott. The 10 3-pointers in a game tied a single game Highland record.
On the season is averaging 13.3 points per game on 51.3 percent and 44.6 percent from 3-point range, while adding 1.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.8 steals per game. She leads the KJCCC DII in 3-point field-goal percentage and ranks second in made 3-pointers with 78 on the season, while she also ranks fifth in the conference in steals and assists. In the Nation Gipson ranks ninth in 3-point field percentage and 3-pointers made on the season.
