COLBY, Kan. – Leading their respective teams to wins over Division 1 conference foes, Allen Community College’s Ella McCammon and Coffeyville Community College’s Kaydence Pawnee have both earned their Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division 2 Softball Player of the Week honors of their careers.

Ella McCammon - Allen (KJCCC Division 2 Softball Player of the Week)
Ella McCammon had an incredible performance at the plate against Barton, going six-for-seven across a doubleheader to record an .857 batting average for the week. McCammon scored five runs and saw two of her six hits go for extra bases, while adding five stolen bases in the leadoff spot for the Red Devils.  

Kaydence Pawnee – Coffeyville (KJCCC Division 2 Softball Pitcher of the Week)
Freshman Kaydence Pawnee spun a gem for the Red Ravens, pitching a complete game shutout in Friday's game one win over Butler. Pawnee allowed just three hits and two walks as part of a 6-0 Coffeyville win. The freshman's outstanding performance allowed Coffeyville to earn a win over a Division 1-ranked opponent and pick up its first victory of the 2026 season.
