Player of the Week:  Addison Spencer (Dodge City)
Dodge City softball opened KJCCC play with a doubleheader sweep of Northwest Kansas Tech with plenty of offense leading the way. Addison Spencer had a strong series going 5-7 with four RBI, five runs scored, two doubles, a walk, and two stolen bases. Game one say Spencer go 2-3 with two runs scored, a double, two RBI, a walk and stolen base, she followed that up going 3-4 in game two with three runs scored, two RBI, a double, and stolen base.

Pitchers of the Week:  Abby Sims (Colby)
Abby Sims, ace pitcher for Colby CC Softball, continued her successful pitching this season shutting out Trinidad and Pratt for the week. Abby allowed just 1 hit in each of her games for the week picking up wins in both outings. Abby racked up 13 strikeouts in 11 innings of play. She has a conference leading ERA of 1.25. Abby also leads the conference in strikeouts with 40. Abby is 4-0 so far on the season which also puts her at the top of the conference for wins.
