CHARLOTTE, NC – Placing fourth out of 401 runners and helping lead the Butler Community College men’s cross country team to a team title at the Dallas Baptist University Old Glory Gallop, Grizzly sophomore S’fiso Makolomakwa has been named the NJCAA Division 1 Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.

Butler sophomore S'fiso Makolomakwa finished in fourth place out of 401 participants at the Old Glory Gallop in Fort Worth, Texas, on Saturday. Makolomakwa finished the 8K race with a time of 24:04.24, recording a 16-second personal record. The fourth-place finish helped the Grizzlies finish in first place as a team out of 38 scoring teams.
