Fort Scott Community College's Gudisa Adnow and Colby Community College's Abigael Kemboi were named Jayhawk Conference Cross Country Runners of the Week after winning their respective races as the Muthama-Rogers Invitational hosted by Bethel College in North Newton, Kansas.

Kemboi, a sophomore from Eldoret, Kenya, won the women's race, covering the 5,000 meters with a time of 18:09. Kemboi led the Colby women to a third-place finish.

Adnow, a freshman from Dallas, won the inadvertently shortened men's race, covering the four-mile course in a time of 19:52.
