Three KJCCC Men's Soccer Teams Ranked In Top 10 Of NJCAA Preseason Polls

CHARLOTTE, NC – Ahead of the start of the 2025 NJCAA men’s soccer season next week, the NJCAA has released their 2025 men’s soccer preseason polls with three Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference teams ranked in the top 10 of their respective preseason polls.
Included in the rankings are last year’s NJCAA Division 1 Men’s Soccer national runners-up and NJCAA Division 2 Men’s Soccer national runners-up, as Cowley College is the lone KJCCC representative in the NJCAA Division 1 Men’s Soccer preseason poll by being ranked number in the preseason poll. Last year, the Tigers went 16-3-3 overall and qualified for a fourth consecutive NJCAA D1 men’s soccer national tournament, where they lost in penalty kicks to Iowa Western Community College in the National Championship match.
In the NJCAA Division 2 Men’s Soccer preseason poll, Neosho County is ranked number two behind only defending National Champion Northeast Community College following a 20-2-2 record in 2024 that saw the Panthers fall in the National Title match to the Hawks. Joining NCCC in the NJCAA D2 men’s soccer preseason poll is number nine ranked Johnson County Community College as the Cavaliers are looking to build off of last year’s 14-4 overall record that saw three of their four losses come to Neosho County with their only other loss coming to Iowa Lakes Community College who qualified for the NJCAA D2 men’s soccer final four last season and was the 2023 National Champions.
The first NJCAA Men’s Soccer polls of the 2025 regular season are scheduled to come out on Tuesday, September 2nd as the season will begin on Thursday, August 21st. Following the release on the 2nd, polls will be released Weekly on Monday afternoons throughout the regular season.
