2025 KJCCC D1 Men's Soccer Players of the Week - Week 7
COLBY, Kan. – For the second time this season, Barton Community College men’s soccer forward Maskai Tsuji has earned Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division 1 Men’s Soccer Player of the Week honors alongside first-time honoree Dodge City Community College goalkeeper Eduardo Solis.
Masaki Tsuji (Barton) – KJCCC D1 Men’s Soccer Player of the Week
Masaki Tsuji once again played a key role in guiding the number nine-ranked Cougars to a 2-0-0 week, contributing three goals and one assist across the pair of victories. The freshman midfielder opened his week factoring into both first-half scores, netting a goal and assisting another in Barton's 4-0 road win at Western Nebraska. Carrying that momentum into Sunday's conference matchup, Tsuji tallied his first career multi-goal outing with a pair of strikes that found the back of the net in the Cougars' 4-1 win over Seward County.

Dodge City earned a decisive 4-0 road win over Trinidad State, with goalkeeper Eduardo Solis showing strong in goal. The freshman helped DCCC earn the shutout win by playing all 90 minutes and making four saves to record the clean sheet for the number 15-ranked Conquistadors.
