2025 KJCCC D1 Men's Soccer Players of the Week - Week 3
COLBY, Kan. A win in their lone game of the week last week, the Barton Community College men’s soccer team got standout performances from Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division 1 Men’s Soccer Players of the Week Masaki Tsuji and Pedro Lisboa to earn a 3-1 win over nationally ranked Lewis & Clark Community College.
Masaki Tsuji (Barton) – KJCCC D1 Men’s Soccer Player of the Week
Masaki Tsuji continued his strong start to the season, scoring twice to help number nine Barton defeat number 11 Lewis & Clark 3-1 on Saturday. The freshman forward delivered a pair of second-half goals, with his first standing as the eventual game-winner. Tsuji recorded his second multi-point outing of the year, totaling four points while converting two of four shots and placing three on frame.
Pedro Lisboa (Barton) – KJCCC D1 Men’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week
Pedro Lisboa came up big in net for number nine Barton, recording seven saves to backstop a 3-1 victory over number 11 Lewis & Clark on Saturday. The freshman goalkeeper turned aside several quality chances to post an .875 save percentage across 90 minutes, securing his first collegiate win while anchoring the Cougars' defensive effort.
