2025 KJCCC D1 Men's Soccer Players of the Week - Week 1
COLBY, Kan. – A 2-0 week for Coffeyville Community College and a win in a ranked matchup for Cowley College were led by the first Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division 1 Men’s Soccer Players of the Week as Red Raven Jacob Shaw and Tiger Lukas Lowry have each earned their first collegiate Player of the Week honors.
Jacob Shaw (Coffeyville) – KJCCC D1 Men’s Soccer Player of the Week
Shaw led the Red Ravens to a perfect week last week, scoring three total goals across two games to go along with one assist. In Coffeyville’s season opener at Arkansas-Rich Mountain, Shaw netted two goals and had an assist to lead CCC to a 3-1 victory before providing the go-ahead game-winning goal in a 4-0 win two days later against Northern Oklahoma-Enid. For the week, Shaw placed four of his six shots on goal and converted his only penalty kick attempt.
Lukas Lowry (Cowley) – KJCCC D1 Men’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week
Lowry posted a clean sheet in a nationally ranked matchup for the number four-ranked Tigers as Cowley earned a 1-0 win over number 16 Lewis & Clark Community College. In the match, Lowry turned away two shots after the Tigers took an early lead in the ninth minute.
