Sophomore Renan Sousa had another solid week helping Barton Community College in two wins to remain undefeated at 6-0 on the season.  Sousa began the week with a six point two-goal two-assist victory over NOC-Tonkawa getting either the key assist or goal including the game winner in the 7-3 victory.   Launching only one shot on frame this past Saturday at Cowley, Sousa was instrumental in the key road victory distributing the game winning assist followed by two more assists in the 5-1 win.  In five of the Cougars six games thus far, Sousa has recorded either a multi- assist or goal performance with three hat tricks.

Sophomore goalkeeper Caleb Cothrin recorded 160 minutes of shutout work, saving eight shots on goal, while leading Johnson County to a pair of wins last week. He now stands 4-1-1 on the season.
