CHARLOTTE, NC. – Turning in a perfect shooting performance from the field, Fort Hays Tech Northwest forward Riccardo Marzetti has been named NJCAA Division 1 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.

Marzetti was perfect from the floor on Wednesday night, pouring in a game-high 32 points as Fort Hays Tech Northwest picked up a win in their conference opener at Pratt, 87-62. Shooting 11-of-11 from the floor, which included a seven-of-seven performance from beyond the arc, Marzetti added five rebounds and a steal in 30 minutes of action as the Tigers improved to 5-1 overall this season with the victory.
