2025-26 KJCCC Men's Basketball Players of the Week - Week 9
COLBY, Kan. – Averaging 25.0 and 30.0 points per game last week, Cloud County Community College freshman Manasseh Stackhouse and Highland Community College sophomore Tavian Tate have both turned their strong offensive performances into this week’s Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week honors.
Manasseh Stackhouse – Cloud County (KJCCC Division 1 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week)
Redshirt freshman Manasseh Stackhouse led the Cloud County men's basketball team to a pair of road KJCCC wins last week over Fort Hays Tech Northwest and Garden City Community College. Stackhouse averaged 25.0 points on 59.5 percent shooting and 11.0 rebounds per game. Stackhouse, Cloud County's team leader in points per game and rebounds per game, now has three double-double performances in the team's last four games. The T-Birds have won three straight since returning from the Christmas holiday break.
Tavian Tate – Highland (KJCCC Division 2 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week)
Tavian Tate had an outstanding week offensively for Highland, shooting 24-of-26 from the free-throw line across a pair of games. Tate was a perfect 12-of-12 against Metropolitan Community College, recording a career-high 39 points for HCC and adding six rebounds and an assist on the night. The sophomore followed that performance with a 12-of-14 night from the stripe as he led the Scotties to a gutsy 64-63 win over St. Louis Community College, recording two steals and two blocks to go with 21 points against the Archers.
