2025-26 KJCCC Men's Basketball Players of the Week - Week 4
COLBY, Kan. – Fort Hays Tech Northwest forward Riccardo Marzetti and Johnson County Community College guard Avian Webb have each earned their first Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week awards after leading their teams to unbeaten weeks last week.
Riccardo Marzetti – Fort Hays Tech NW (KJCCC Division 1 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week)
Marzetti was perfect from the floor on Wednesday night, pouring in a game-high 32 points as Fort Hays Tech Northwest picked up a win in their conference opener at Pratt, 87-62. Shooting 11-of-11 from the floor, which included a seven-of-seven performance from beyond the arc, Marzetti added five rebounds and a steal in 30 minutes of action as the Tigers improved to 5-1 overall this season with the victory.
Avian Webb – Johnson County (KJCCC Division 2 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week)
Johnson County guard Avian Webb averaged 20.0 points and connected on 54 percent of his shots and was six-for-six at the free throw line to help lead the number five-ranked Cavaliers to a pair of victories last week. In a 92-61 win over Central, Webb finished with 13 points, two rebounds, and an assist. The freshman then went on in Friday night's 84-81 overtime win over Chandler-Gilbert to knock down five three-pointers on his way to a season-high 27 points. Webb hit nine-of-14 shots, including five of seven beyond the arc, while grabbing two rebounds and one steal in the win.
