Six KJCCC Men's Basketball Players Named NJCAA All-Americans

CHARLOTTE, NC – The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) has released their 2025-26 Men’s Basketball All-America teams with six Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference men’s basketball players picking up All-America honors for their play throughout the season.
The six players represent five different KJCCC institutions, with Barton Community College the lone KJCCC team to have multiple players named to the All-America teams. Also having a player earn All-America honors were NJCAA National Tournament qualifiers Allen, Butler, Dodge City, Johnson County Community College, with the conference now having 230 players named All-Americans since 1950.
Tristan Hankins (Butler) NJCAA Division 1 Men’s Basketball First Team All-American
The KJCCC Division 1 Men’s Basketball Co-Most Valuable Player and Freshman of the Year, Hankins was a force for Butler while leading the Grizzlies to a share of the KJCCC D1 Men’s Basketball regular season title and NJCAA Region 6 Men’s Basketball Tournament Title. Averaging 18.5 points per game while shooting 47.1 percent from the floor, Hankins added 5.6 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game to become the first Butler player since 2010 to earn NJCAA All-America honors. Hankins was also the NJCAA Region 6 Men’s Basketball Tournament MVP and named to the NJCAA D1 Men’s Basketball Tournament All-Tournament team for his performance across two games in the National Tournament against Snow College and eventual National Champion Howard College.
Derrick Rivers (Dodge City) NJCAA Division 1 Men’s Basketball Second Team All-American
The second-highest scorer in the KJCCC, Rivers was one of two players in the conference to average over 20 points per game by scoring 20.4 points per contest in addition to recording 4.5 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game. Helping run a Conquistador offense that averaged 82.6 points per game, Rivers started all 31 games for Dodge City this season and was limited to single-digits in just one contest while scoring 25 or more points in 11 games. Rivers is the 15th player all-time for Dodge City to earn All-America honors, and the third in the past five years.
Noah Williams (Barton) NJCAA Division 1 Men’s Basketball Third Team All-American
The KJCCC D1 Men’s Basketball Newcomer of the Year, Williams was a key piece to Barton securing their second KJCCC D1 men’s basketball regular season title in the past three seasons after averaging 15.4 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. The rebounding average ranked third in the KJCCC this season, while his scoring average was the 12th-best among all KJCCC D1 men’s basketball players. Williams was an NJCAA Region 6 Tournament All-Tournament team selection and recorded six double-doubles throughout the season after helping the Cougars to a third-straight NJCAA D1 Men’s Basketball National Tournament.
Aris Rodriguez (Barton) NJCAA Division 1 Men’s Basketball Honorable Mention All-American
Ranking third among all KJCCC D1 men’s basketball players in scoring average this season, Rodriguez was Barton’s leading scorer at 19.4 points per contest across 34 games while making a league-best 225 field goals this season. Ranking second in the league in steals with 67, Rodriguez also had the most total points (658) of any KJCCC player and finished his career at Barton with 1,077 points, the 10th most in program history.
Tavian Cruse (Johnson County) NJCAA Division 2 Men’s Basketball First Team All-American
Earning KJCCC D2 men’s basketball Most Valuable Player honors, Cruse was named to the 2026 NJCAA Division 2 Men’s Basketball Tournament All-Tournament team after leading all KJCCC Division 2 players in rebounding with a 10.2 rebounds per game average in addition to a 13.4 points per game average. Cruse also ranked third in the KJCCC in field goal percentage after making 55.1 percent of his shot attempts and sixth in blocks with 17 while recording a double-double in 20 games this year.
Clyde Davis Jr. (Allen) NJCAA Division 2 Men’s Basketball Honorable Mention All-American
Named the KJCCC Division 2 men’s basketball Freshman of the Year, Davis Jr. was also named to the NJCAA Region 6 D2 Men’s Basketball All-Tournament team after leading Allen to a second-place finish in the KJCCC D2 regular season and NJCAA Region 6 Tournament runner-up finish. Scoring 18.7 points per game, which ranked second among all KJCCC D2 men’s basketball players, Davis Jr. also ranked fourth in the league in assists (114) and made free throws (105) while ranking fifth in field goals (187), three-point field goals (62), and seventh in free throw percentage (77.8 percent). Davis Jr. becomes the sixth player in Red Devil history to earn All-America honors and the first since 2022.
