Sanders Butler Community College Linebacker 6'2" 217 Freshman Cordell, GA Freshman linebacker Tommy Sanders, from Crisp County High School in Cordell, Ga., had a momentum-changing play in the game when he intercepted a Navarro pass in the end zone and returned it 47 yards to stop a potential scoring drive of the Bulldogs in Butler’s 23-16 overtime loss on the road against the No. 1-ranked team in the nation. Sanders also broke up two other passes, had a quarterback sack for a 10-yard loss and made 10 tackles, eight of which were solo stops. The Grizzlies held Navarro to just one touchdown in regulation. |
