(KJCCC) March 9, 2021 -- This one's gonna be tight.

That is how the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) football coaches see the title race this spring.

Garden City and Hutchinson were voted the co-favorites in the annual coaches poll released today.  The poll also had Butler picked a very close third.

Defending league champ Independence was picked fourth this year.

Both Garden City and Hutchinson finshed the 2019 season in a three-way tie for second with Butler.

The top three teams picked this year were also picked the top three preseason favorites in 2019.

Due to COVID-19 health concerns, there will be no football media day prior to the season.
