KJCCC Baseball East Division Players of the Week - Week 14
COLBY, Kan. – For the final time in 2026, the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference has released the KJCCC East Division Baseball Players of the Week, with Johnson County’s Logan Groh and Will Kennedy each picking up their first accolades of the season.
Logan Groh – Johnson County (KJCCC Baseball East Division Player of the Week)
Logan Groh helped lead JCCC to a four-game sweep over Fort Scott and secure the second undefeated conference season in KJCCC history. Groh hit .500 in the series (nine-for-18) with two doubles, a triple, two home runs, five runs scored, and seven RBI. For the season, Groh is batting .444 with 16 doubles, five triples, 22 home runs, and 96 RBI., which leads the conference.
Will Kennedy – KCKCC (KJCCC Baseball East Division Pitcher of the Week)
Will Kennedy put together a complete game shutout performance with a 2-0 win against Cowley College to help the Blue Devils earn a second-place finish in the KJCCC East Division. Striking out seven Tiger batters, Kennedy picked up his sixth win of the season and ran his season strikeout total to 79, the third-most among all KJCCC baseball pitchers this season.
