Eight KJCCC Baseball Players Named NJCAA All-Americans

CHARLOTTE, NC – The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) has released its 2026 Baseball All-America teams with eight Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference baseball players picking up All-America honors for their play throughout the season.
The eight players represent three different KJCCC institutions, with 2026 NJCAA Division 1 Baseball National Champion Johnson County accounting for six of the eight All-Americans. Other KJCCC schools represented on the NJCAA D1 Baseball All-America teams include Cloud County and Hutchinson, with four of the eight selections earning first-team All-American honors.
Colin Coonradt (Johnson County) NJCAA Division 1 Baseball First Team All-American
Hitting the second most home runs of any KJCCC baseball player and the most of any player in conference games with 21, Coonradt led all KJCCC baseball players in both divisions in both on-base percentage (.567) and slugging percentage (1.009) while totaling 230 total bases and 109 runs driven in. 56 of Coonradt’s 98 hits this season went for extra bases as the sophomore also drew a KJCCC-best 61 walks, ranking third nationally in runs scored and total bases, fourth in walks, fifth in RBI and slugging percentage, and ninth in hits.
Logan Groh (Johnson County) NJCAA Division 1 Baseball First Team All-American
Johnson County’s best hitter by batting average, Groh was one of four players for JCCC to score 100 or more runs this season after hitting .446 with an NJCAA-best 120 hits, which included 19 doubles, five triples, and 25 home runs. Adding 14 stolen bases, Groh had an on-base percentage of .497 and ranked second in NJCAA Division 1 Baseball in RBI (113), fourth in total bases (224), and 11th in home runs.
Ryan Bradford (Johnson County) NJCAA Division 1 Baseball First Team All-American
The new NJCAA Baseball single-season home run record holder, Bradford led the NJCAA in three statistical categories (runs – 128, home runs – 42, and total bases – 276) while hitting .437 at the plate with a 1.057 slugging percentage and .522 on-base percentage in his first collegiate season. Bradford also ranked second in the NJCAA in RBI (113), third in hits (114), and 14th in doubles (24), as 72 of his 114 hits went for extra-bases.
Simon Baker (Cloud County) NJCAA Division 1 Baseball First Team All-American
The KJCCC West Division Baseball Most Valuable Player, Baker was one of the most electrifying and dangerous batters at the plate in the division after posting a batting average of .412 and leading the division in both on-base percentage (.542) and slugging percentage (.929). Ranking in the top five of the KJCCC West Division in triples (12), home runs (20), total bases (170), and walks (45), Baker led the NJCAA in triples while having the 11th-best slugging percentage and 27th-most total bases.
Cru Huenfeld (Hutchinson) NJCAA Division 1 Baseball Second Team All-American
Huenfeld helped Hutchinson set nine offensive records this past season, becoming the first Blue Dragon baseball player to drive in 100 runs in a season while breaking the HCC single-season RBI record. Nationally, Huenfeld ranked seventh in RBI, 10th in total bases (185), 11th in doubles (25), 18th in home runs (23), and 23rd in slugging percentage (.881).
Liam Roche (Johnson County) NJCAA Division 1 Baseball Third Team All-American
Leading all NJCAA pitchers in wins with a perfect 16-0 record on the mound across 18 starts, Roche tossed 78.1 innings on the mound for the Cavaliers and recorded an earned run average of 4.02 while striking out 120 batters. Averaging 13.79 strikeouts per nine innings, Roche tossed three complete games and allowed just 35 earned runs on 71 hits while holding opponents to a batting average of .234.
Ashton Nance (Johnson County) NJCAA Division 1 Baseball Third Team All-American
Johnson County’s team leader in innings pitched (84.1), Nance went a perfect 14-0 on the mound across 19 appearances, which included 18 starts and three complete games. Striking out 92 batters and allowing just 80 hits during the season, Nance held opponents to a batting average of .236.
Briggs Roe (Johnson County) NJCAA Division 1 Baseball Honorable Mention All-American
One of five Johnson County players to hit over 20 home runs this past season, Roe ranked in the top 10 of NJCAA Division 1 baseball in six different offensive statistical categories, which included recording the fourth-most hits of all players this season (106). Adding the sixth-most runs scored (100), eighth-most home runs (27), and ninth-most RBI (96), Roe hit .427 at the plate with a .493 on-base percentage and .883 slugging percentage, with his slugging percentage ranking 22nd in the NJCAA.
