KJCCC East Player of the Week: Ty Hammack – Cowley College
Sophomore centerfielder Ty Hammack continued his assault on opposing pitching by going 9-for-13 with three home runs, 12 runs batted in, and nine runs scored as Cowley won three of four games against Fort Scott. He reached base safely 12-of-16 times for an on-base percentage of .750.
KJCCC East Pitcher of the Week: Maddox Burkitt – Johnson County Community College
In Johnson County's first game in the final season series against Labette, right-hander Maddox Burkitt shut down the Cardinals' bats the final two innings, striking out four of the six batters he faced.
