KJCCC West Baseball Player and Pitcher of the Week, Week 14
KJCCC West Player of the Week: Hayden Dyer– Butler Community College
Hayden Dyer, the Grizzlies sophomore middle infielder form Gardner, Kansas had an impressive game at the plate in their 19-2 victory over the Pratt Beavers at home on Saturday. Dyer kicked the day off with a solo-homer off the first pitch of the game, and he would later drive the Grizzlies to a nine run lead with a grand slam. Dyer ended the game three for three, with six rbi's, two homers, and four runs. Dyer's average on the week was .428 going six for fourteen with seven runs, eight RBIs, three homeruns, and two doubles. Dyer leads the Butler Baseball team in hitting average at .379 on the season as well as RBIs with 56.
KJCCC West Pitcher of the Week: Justis Revill – Dodge City Community College
Dodge City baseball took on Cloud County in the final KJCCC series of the season and Justus Revill had his second straight complete game this time tossing a shutout as he gave up just one hit and one walk while striking out 10 against Cloud County in the series opening 1-0 win for the Conquistadors. On the season Revill has thrown 39.2 innings in 11 appearances with six starts and has a 3-0 record with a save recording 46 strikeouts and has a 4.08 ERA.
