KJCCC West Baseball Player and Pitcher of the Week, Week 12
KJCCC West Player of the Week: A.J. Mustow– Hutchinson Community College
Hutchinson outfielder A.J. Mustow hit safely in all five games and drove in runs in 4 of 5 games to lead the Blue Dragons to a 5-0 record last week. Mustow hit .550 for the week with four doubles, two home runs and 11 RBIs. Mustow hit a key two-run home run in Hutchinson's 3-0 win in Game 3 of the series. He had a season-high four hits in the Dragons 19-9 win in Game 2 over the Busters. Mustow had his first multi-home run game of the season with a pair of homers and four RBIs against the Sterling College JV. Mustow also had key outfield assist in throwing out a runner at the plate in the Dragons' 3-0 win over Garden City.
KJCCC West Pitcher of the Week: Izack Tiger – Butler Community College
Izack Tiger, the Grizzlies sophomore right-handed pitcher from Del City, Oklahoma had a dominant start for the Grizzlies on Thursday afternoon against the Colby Trojans. The Grizzlies ace threw a complete game in the 13-0 shutout victory, facing 23 batters giving up only two hits with eight strikeouts and only one walk. Tiger continues to grow the Butler Baseball program strikeout record with 205 career strikeouts and leads the KJCCC in strikeouts this season with 83.
