KJCCC East Player of the Week: Hector Candelas – Kansas City Kansas Community College
Hector Candelas batted .571 for the week and hit three home runs, while adding 10 RBI. He sparked the offense by helping them win four out of five games last week. Candelas leads the team and conference with a .440 batting average. 

KJCCC East Pitcher of the Week: Cole Koonce – Johnson County Community College
Johnson County sophomore right-hander Cole Koonce allowed just two singles and walk with 10 strikeouts in six innings of work to run his record to 8-1 on the season. His eight wins currently lead the conference.
