Freshman infielder and leadoff hitter Dylan Hufft hit .526 last week (10-for-19) with a double, five runs scored and four RBI. He also was a perfect 5-for-5 in stolen base attempts. In the field he had four putouts and nine assists with just one error. For the season, Hufft is hitting at a .437 clip.

Johnson County sophomore right-handed pitcher Cole Koonce allowed one run off three hits and struck out eight batters over seven innings on the bump in a 5-1 victory over Fort Scott. For the season Koonce is 5-0 with 66 strikeouts
