Johnson’s Galloway and Neosho’s Ebright named Division I Baseball Player and Pitcher of the Week
Johnson County sophomore outfielder Jackson Galloway had a big week to open his 2021 season. He hit .560 (14-for-25) with two doubles, two triples, two home runs, 13 runs scored and eight driven in. He was also 3-for-3 in stolen bases. In a 13-3 win over Southeast on Feb. 26, Galloway tied his career high by driving in five runs. He had a single, triple and home run in that win.
Neosho County right-handed pitcher Jack Ebright hurled a complete-game shutout against the #14 NJCAA D2 ranked Northeast Community College last week. Ebright scattered five hits and struck out seven over seven innings.
