College recruiters and professional scouts will get a look at the top KJCCC baseball sophomores at the 2015 KJCCC & BSN Sports Showcase Weekend.

The sophs head to Wichita State University and Eck Stadium on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 18 and 19. The KJCCC East Division athletes will be on display Friday, and the KJCCC West athletes will take the field on Saturday.

Player evaluations will begin with registration at 9:30am on both days. There will be evaluations for pitchers and position players, with running and skill drills.  A nine-inning game will start at 2:30pm, with a seven-inning game to follow on both days.

This is the inaugural year for sponsorship of the Showcase by BSN Sports.  BSN Sports, based locally out of Wichita, provides equipment, scoreboards, hardware, uniforms, and many other products to a large variety of sports  through their website, BSNSports.com, and through their team sales sample showcase at 8110 W. Central in Wichita.

BSN Sports will donate the 40-dozen baseballs used during the Showcase to League 42, a league for underserved kids in the greater Wichita area.
