In a crucial Jayhawk West Conference matchup, Jayde Hansen shut down arch-rival Seward in the second game of a doubleheader on the road, earning a 2-0 win. It is her first career shutout and improves her record to 3-0 on the season for the No. 6-ranked Grizzlies.  Weekly Stats

Offense was tough to come by in a hard-fought doubleheader at Seward on Thursday, but the Sydney Eck powered the Grizzlies with a pair of hits in the doubleheader, including a solo home run in the first half. She also drove in one of Butler�s two runs in the second game. For the season, Eck leads Butler with six home runs and 17 RBI and his hitting .410.  Weekly Stats

Laura Wilson tossed a two-hit shutout in a win over Barton County and went 2-1 on the week. Wilson struck out 10 in the victory over Barton and allowed only one run over five innings in a 24-1 win over Brown Mackie.
