Cloud County sophomore Erik Sabrowski threw arguably the greatest seven-inning game in school history last week with a two-hit, complete-game shutout performance against Hutchinson in Game One of the series. Sabrowski, who threw 75 of his 106 pitches for strikes in Thursday's win, set the school record with 18 strikeouts against the Blue Dragons, topping the previous record of 15 set in 1990 by Tom Johnsen. The big left-hander is now 2-0 with a 28:2 strikeout to walk ratio in his first two conference starts. 

Johnson County Community College sophomore Ty Herrenbruck had a big week for the Cavaliers. He batted .579 (11-for-19) with three doubles, two triples, a home run, 10 RBI and 11 runs scored. He collected multiple hits in four of the five games last week, upping his season total to 10.He also extended his hitting streak to seven games.
