Freshman Jackie Patterson produced a double-double and two impressive
performances in a pair of victories for the 20th-ranked Lady Dragons. For the
week, Patterson, the Jayhawk Conference’s leader in field-goal percentage,
average 19 points per game, shooting early 70 percent, and nine rebounds, 3.5
assists and 3.5 blocked shots per game. Patterson posted her third double-double
of the season with 16 points and 11 rebounds vs. Barton. Then in 22 minutes
against Colby, Patterson scored 22 points on 10 of 14 shooting with seven
rebounds and a career-high five blocked shots. |
